My little black Lamarthe bag!

It was actually "made in Rumania" I found this petite black leather handbag on eBay and just had to have it; primarily because of it's uniqueness and the fact that it is "made in Rumania."

The purse bears the embossing of Lamarthe, which is a designer name of handbags that usually are made in Paris. This baguette quite possibly was from a sample run. It's black with white piping with two tags inside; one is "claim #47," and the other reads "Made in Rumania." The size is compact, 9" x 5-1/2" and appears to be new. The zipper pull is also marked Lamarthe.

Ever been to Paris, France? I'm definitely not bragging, but I have been there. In fact it was for Valentine's Day in 2003 that I made the trip, with my now ex hubby! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Yes, people really do get married on Valentine's Day. Oh, and here is the proof that I was there!

It was a slightly foggy day and quite chilly. You probably can't make it out, but the faux fur coat that I am wearing, is adorned with large, colorful hearts!! I planned that; you know? Our anniversary, Paris, a heart coat. Ah! Oh, and I also had on some furry earmuffs and warm gloves.

The point of all this information? I love Paris, France, that's #1. #2, I love La Tour Eiffel : The Eiffel Tower. This is a gorgeous and functional little black leather bag with lots of style! I purchased this directly from Dillards. It's been used a couple of times, but is in mint condition. It has been stored away in a white dust cover in a clean environment.

The cute little Kate Landry frame bag measures approximately 7.5 inches wide by 7 inches high by 4 inches deep. It has 4 silvertone feet on the bottom. There is a pin snap closure at top to an open compartment with black fabric lining. It has a silvertone chain handle. The styling of it reminds me of a French lady's type of handbag; very Chanel-like!

In the spotlight today is the i Santi Made in Italy Chocolate and Tan Domed Handbag Tote.

This is something you don't see everyday! I know, because I have been searching the internet to find another i Santi handbag like this one. I didn't find another one similar, but I did see a piece of luggage with this color styling. This is a unique Italian made handbag that has been stored in its tan dust cover, in a clean environment, and never used!

It measures approximately 10-1/2 inches wide by 11-1/2 inches high by 4-3/4 inches deep. There are 5 silvertone feet on the bottom and two Silvertone engraved pulls on the zipper, which runs around the outside and top of the bag.

I love the contrasting deep chocolate with a vachetta type tan leather. It has two stylishly long, loop like handles and a chained i Santi engraved tag on the outside.  The interior is lined with a dark brown i Santi signature fabric. There is a zippered side pocket adorned with a label that reads: "i santi" Made in Italy 002 F5002.

My favorite designer is Givenchy! For years, I have been building my personal Givenchy collection. Now, I am presenting some selected designer handbags from my Givenchy Designer Handbag Collection. Those included in this blog post have all been stored in their dust covers, in a clean environment, and never used.

The first Givenchy item is one of my favorites. It is a larger, tote size handbag that sports the signature Givenchy GG logo design. I love the contrasting chocolate with tan colors, along with the chocolate leather trim and tassels. The Givenchy Signature Brown and Tan Tote is a "wow!"

If you love the look of the Givenchy tote, but want a baguette or smaller, clutch style bag, I've got it! Check out the Givenchy Signature Logo Chocolate Mini. It measures approximately 8-1/2 inches wide by 5-1/2 inches high by 2-1/2 inches in depth at the base of the purse. At the bottom, is a double side-stitched chocolate leather base. This little bag was purchased at the Paris International Airport. I have the original purchase receipt as documentation of its authenticity.

Perhaps you prefer a Givenchy designer bag in black and gray? I just so happen to have the pouchette bag in a black and gray!  I really love the styling of the Givenchy GG logo. And, the double fringe tassels definitely make this little bag. It's the perfect size pouchette for a gal's night out. It will easily carry your cellphone, lipstick, mirror, brush, and a small wallet.

The cute little bag measures 8-1/2 inches wide by 5-1/2 inches high with a depth at the bottom of 4 inches.

The Dooney and Bourke Square Flap Bag Kiwi has a retail price of $230.00. I only carried this beautiful bag once. It has been stored in a pristine environment and looks like new!  It's rather rare to find this little bag in such an excellent, nearly new condition. What I really love about it is the kiwi color matched with the hot pink fuchsia interior. Also, I am passionate about hearts and really appreciate the multicolor enameled hearts on the buckle front.

I Love the Hayden-Harnett line of designer handbags!

I first discovered Hayden-Harnett over three years ago when I was active as a member of Stylehive. You can find Hayden-Harnett's site over at Stylehive and at their corporate website. Interestingly enough, I joined Stylehive on March 22, 2006 ONE day after joining Squidoo on March 21, 2006. That was one busy month for me. Yessiree Bob!

It was because Stylehive was sponsoring a contest to win a designer handbag that I had the opportunity to discover Hayden-Harnett and be the first stylist to bring that brand to Stylehive some 34 or so months ago!

Neoprene lunch tote and handbag

What's made of neoprene and can transition from a lunch tote to a handbag? For those of you who like to blend a little fashion in a lunch tote, may I recommend the Gourmet Getaway Tote from Built NY! This has got to be the coolest neoprene tote available on the market today. If you're a giant squid or scuba diver, you probably hace a wetsuit that is made of neoprene. Can you imagine that resourceful inventor who decided to try neoprene as a waterproof fabric in fashion accessories? Wow, I'd like to meet that guy ... or gal.

Well, back to the getaway tote ... it's practical and versatile in that you can transition it from your lunch tote to a handbag in case it's a rainy day. I'm thinking it'd work really well at Jaguars' games as it always seems to rain in the end zone. There's a handy soft gripper style handle along with that necessary interior pocket for your cellphone, blackberry, wallet, lipstick or keys! When not in use, it flattens for easy storage or packing in your suitcase! It comes in a Mars color of brown for men and a Venus color of cranberry red for the ladies. Best Bags from a Self-Described Bag-a-holic

I'm a self-described "bag-a-holic" as I own a few hundred bags, have bought and sold bags online for a number of years, and search for bags everyday. But, by no means would I assume the title of "bag lady" as I believe plenty of others have claimed that dubious distinction.

Somedays I feel downright bag-gy as I travel the many paths that the internet brings to my door. I have seen so many styles, shapes, colors, and brands [genuine and not so genuine] of bags that it boggles my mind for sure! How can there be that many kinds of handbags? That's what my hubby would like to know too!

A bag is a purse or sack or handbag. To us ladies, it is an essential component of our wardrobe! We've got to have the right bag to go with our new outfit ... plus a pair of shoes! This lens presents my interpretation of the "Best Bags" --no matter what the price-- as I see them. Trust me as this is a tough task to present my "Top Ten" as it's like comparing apples with oranges or trying to pick your favorite child!

I Love These Hearts Square Flap Fashion Purses

I personally LOVE the Hearts Square Flap Purses !! I loved them so much, I bought them in a variety of colors -- pink, white, and black -- and in a variety of sizes. They sold like hotcakes. Allow me to share these adorable handbags with you!
