Bunch of Sunflowers Zazzle Designer Fabric

To know me is to know that I love sunflowers! Especially the bold and inspiring sunflower blossom as showcased on the Bunch of Yellow Sunflowers Fabric available from Zazzle. I designed my very first fabric product with a collage design of yellow sunflower blossoms with the original blossom found in my sunflower garden in Jacksonville, Florida. I opted to go with combed cotton to put the focus on the flower. Take a look at the piece of fabric as I have displayed it as a floral hanging from my Stanley yellow dresser.

Are you thinking flower power like me? I've been experimenting with that fabric panel throughout my house and haven't yet committed to one placement. I see so many possibilities for it! So, at the moment, that flower fabric panel is hanging on the front of my bedroom dresser as a focal point in my bedroom. And, you get to be in on my thinking and designing process! What would YOU design with that flower fabric panel?

Stepping back a bit, to take in more of the artsy and sunny bedroom, you have a view of my white overstuffed chair. And, you can see the bathroom window through the door opening. The chair and the window are my first two design subjects. I'm looking for a white window shade to fit the bathroom window and want to stitch the fabric over the shade to make a sunflower window shade. I'm also going to try making a simple window curtain to hang as a panel over the bathroom window. I think the collage of sunflowers will look fabulous letting the light shine through the fabric panel.

I personally love the idea of using the bold bunch of sunflower fabric as a cushion cover for the backdrop of my white overstuffed chair. What do you think? I'm also thinking that the sunflowers would look great covering the seat cushion. I love to be able to get a good view of the large sunflower blossoms. It's like adding a bit of art to the white chair.

Take a look at the beautiful presentation from Zazzle. If I lived in a loft apartment, I honestly think I might try presenting my sunflower fabric like a floral art panel. When I hung my panel in my bedroom, I flipped it from the Zazzle product presentation above. I've also added two additional designs to the bunch of sunflowers. You can select from Bunch of Sunflowers on Black or Bunch of Sunflowers on Teal.

If you are a seamstress, you will love the selection of fabrics available at Zazzle. I have designed all my fabric offerings using the combed cotton. However, you might opt to try one of the other fabrics available. Explore the various fabric types available from Zazzle.

zazzle fabric options with width and price upgrade
The various fabrics include combed cotton, pima cotton, cotton twill, polyester poplin, polyester weave, ivory linen and natural linen. The fabric widths vary from 54 inches wide up to 60 inches wide. Plus the upgrade price is a bit more for the fabrics other than combed cotton.

It is time to welcome Spring! Why not pick the flowers -- the sunflowers -- and bring them inside? I live in Florida, so I am pretty much blessed to not have snow. We get a lot of sunshine. Maybe you don't live in Florida and would like a little sunshine inside? I have just the JaguarJulieFlowers zazzle fabric for you! Go ahead and browse my designer selections ... see if YOU can pick just one!

Designer Feedback

Here is your opportunity to be part of the design process! I personally LOVE to hear from my many readers; however, sometimes people are shy about leaving comments or don't know what to say. I would love to hear from my readers ... what would you design with this bold flower panel of a bunch of yellow sunflowers?

We've shared our designer thinking ... what do YOU think? Would you opt for a hanging floral art panel, bedroom dresser panel, overstuffed chair back cushion or seat cushion, window shade covering, window panel curtain, or perhaps wrapped canvas.

Some other options? Perhaps floral, three-panel room divider? That might be pretty cool. Or, I was thinking of making an outside panel that would be held by two of my five-foot wooden garden stakes. You know, sunflower art for my next sunflower garden! Let us know! Ah, hope you felt the sunshine today!!

Spotlight on the Products
2-Sided Green Christmas Tree on Red - Red on Grn Throw Pillows My favorite #zazzlemade product is definitely the 16 inch by 16 inch Artsy Christmas Tree pillow! I couldn't decide whether I wanted a green tree on a red background or a red tree on a green background. So, I made it a 2-sided pillow with a reverse design on the flip side! Check out that first photo and you can see the green tree on a brilliant red background.

Abstract Red Christmas Tree on Green Throw Pillow The moment I opened the package to reveal that pillow, I was in awe of the brilliant colors and quality of the fabric. I couldn't stop turning the pillow over and over again to check the two different designs.

The pillow fabric is a 100% Polyester Simplex Knit Fabric that is machine-washable and made in the USA. There is a hidden zipper at the bottom of the pillow that is tastefully stitched. You can also get #zazzlemade pillows in a 20 inch by 20 inch or 13 inch by 21 inch size and in Grade A cotton. These pillows are the perfect gifts for the host or hostess who might be throwing a holiday party!

Check out this next holiday photo to see the red tree on a pretty green background. Decisions, decisions! If you can't make up your mind on two designs, well, get them both!

Abstract Green Christmas Tree on Red Party Plate My second favorite #zazzlemade product is the beautiful 10 inch Artsy Christmas Tree melamine plate. I was thrilled to learn that these plates are made by FUJIFILM! As a retired Marketing Manager from FujiFilm Hunt, it's rather nice to be able to order one of their products. This particular design of the brilliant green tree on a vibrant and bold red background with a pretty golden-yellow star really pops. You will be impressed by the quality of the colors.

These melamine plates are non-toxic, dishwasher-safe and virtually break-resistant. Unfortunately, they are not recommended for the microwave.

Look closely at that lighted, Southern-style Christmas tree. Notice anything familiar hanging on that tree?

2-Sided Green Christmas Tree on Red - Red on Grn Ornaments There is another 2-sided design of the Christmas tree [that coordinates with the pillow] -- it is a #zazzlemade ornament! The 2-Sided Green Christmas Tree on Red - Red on Green Ornament.

Artsy Green Christmas Tree on Red Ornament The artsy ceramic ornament measures 2.87 inches in diameter and weighs 1.4 ounces. It comes with a sparkly gold thread for hanging. You can print on both sides which is the perfect opportunity to try that second design.

An ornament is the perfect stocking stuffer gift. But, don't wait until Christmas to give this type of gift. Consider customized ornaments as another gift for the host or hostess throwing that holiday party! Or, maybe you have a gift exchange at the office?

Our fourth festive coordinating #zazzlemade item is the Artsy Green Christmas Tree on Red Drink Coaster.

Artsy Green Christmas Tree on Red Drink Coaster This sandstone coaster measures 4.25 inches in diameter with a depth of 0.25 inches, and weighs 3.88 ounces. It comes with a cork pad backing so that it won't scratch your table tops. They also have an attractive matte finish.

You'll find that these coasters are just a wee bit larger than most coasters. They can accommodate a variety of cup sizes. Coasters are excellent gifts for adding a little #holidaycheer. Consider adding a personalized coaster with that holiday bottle of cheer!

The Other Artsy Christmas Tree
2-Sided Green Christmas Tree on Red - Red on Grn Pillows If you want a more abstract design, you might like the other #zazzlemade 2-Sided Green Christmas Tree on Red - Red on Green Pillow.

Abstract Red Christmas Tree on Green Throw Pillow I had a tough time trying to decide if I wanted to have a more traditional style Christmas tree design or a more artistic design.

The vibrant red, green, and yellow colors are the same; only the tree design is different. If your host or hostess has an artsy side, consider this design as their host or hostess gift! What a great way to add #holidaycheer this year.

$25 #Zazzle Giveaway
We have saved the best for last! See that pretty Christmas tree plate? Right now it is rather empty and in need of a 'decoration.' It needs to be decorated with Christmas cookies! Articles of Inspiration

Where do you find inspiration? What inspires you? What inspires you on a daily basis? Recently I was asked about where I derive my inspiration. On May 18, 2010, in Kimberly's Morning Coffee, SquidooKimberly asked, "what inspires you?"

My answer at that moment was: "Ah, Kimberly! I first think of a fellow lensmaster, editionh aka Martin, when I think about "what inspires me!" Martin inspires me through his artful words, artsy lenses, and wonderful art on zazzle. Thanks for asking!"

I've written about The Art of Zazzle -- My Favorite Zazzle Art which is my tribute lens which spotlights the marvelous Martin and his beautiful, artsy and inspirational art on Zazzle. You know that Zazzle has exploded with items. What makes me smile when I think of Martin is that his art is unique, original and inspiring ... he doesn't try to take stock digital art or clipart to sell his stuff. He sells HIMSELF ... all that is original, artsy and unique!

Do you know that Martin has been kind enough to share with me various websites from which he seeks inspiration on a daily basis.  And, for that I am most thankful.  Thank you Martin!

So this morning I was sitting at my desk in my home office and wondering, "where are those roofers from next door?" The hammering of yesterday had added some interruptions to my thought patterns. Thinking about the hammering and lack of hammering, I started to look around my desk space. There were my articles of inspiration, quite a few of them. "Hmmm," I thought, "I'll take a picture of them and share them with YOU."

Drumroll for my articles of inspiration! Here they are:

So, what have we here? Take a closer look! Some would prod me to make a Squidoo lens, Articles of Inspiration; some might make their own lenses on their articles of inspiration.  My prize inspiration is the original artwork "Be not afraid to sing your own song."  I truly love that!

I've got a "kick butt" Chinese guy, a motorized Energizer bunny, a mosaic Spanish cat, a Joyful Goebel, a Robert Held confetti art glass heart paperweight, and an "I make a difference" lapel pin.  I have several crystal art glass heart paperweights, a "Happiness is a butterfly" inspiration card, two puffed heart crystal candleholders AND a Giant of the Year Award mousepad oh my!

What have you got sitting on your desk that inspires you?  I think I need to tell YOU more about all this stuff ... YES?
