La Tour Eiffel Bow Barrel Handbag

Ever been to Paris, France? I'm definitely not bragging, but I have been there. In fact it was for Valentine's Day in 2003 that I made the trip, with my now ex hubby! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Yes, people really do get married on Valentine's Day. Oh, and here is the proof that I was there!

It was a slightly foggy day and quite chilly. You probably can't make it out, but the faux fur coat that I am wearing, is adorned with large, colorful hearts!! I planned that; you know? Our anniversary, Paris, a heart coat. Ah! Oh, and I also had on some furry earmuffs and warm gloves.

The point of all this information? I love Paris, France, that's #1. #2, I love La Tour Eiffel : The Eiffel Tower. And, I am talking about the tower in Paris, France and the incredible La Tour Eiffel handbag and accessories brand. I've authored a Squidoo lens on this very multi-topic! I sure do love the Brighton brand! Just last week, I dropped by the Brighton store in the St. Johns Town Center to feast on all the beautiful Brighton designer handbags, accessories and jewelry. It was one of those days that I needed to take a break from all my content writing, blogging, selling, promotion, job searching, etc. Whew!

What I really love about this Brighton bag is the delightful charm bracelet that is attached at the top and the braided chocolate leather handle. The body of the bag is a combination of pebbled and smooth leather.

The Brighton Daria Charm Bracelet Leather Bag qualifies as a versatile little bag as it measures 12 inches wide at the base to about 9 inches wide at the top to 7 inches in height. Not too big; and not too small. Very feminine!

It closes with a magnetic bar. Inside is a pretty golden checkered interior fabric with colors of red and green stripes. There is a zippered pocket on one side. Hayden-Harnett Kira Leather Clutch Wallet

Are you familiar with the Hayden-Harnett brand? I've been a fan of theirs since early 2006.

Following their brand over the past several years, I have seen much growth. I've also seen a LOT of designer items that have tickled my fancy. I'd say that they have arrived!

Over the years, I have purchased a variety of designer items from them, including a handbag, wallet, shoes, and dress!  One of my all-time favorites is this little goodie. I found the Kira Clutch Wallet in Brandy selling for $195.00 on the Hayden-Harnett website. I also found the Kira Clutch Wallet in Black on the Hayden-Harnett website.

By the way, I truly love the photographic quality of the designer items that you can find at Hayden-Harnett. Not only are their designer items quite delicious in person, but the photographs definitely present the designer items in their best light. My goal is to learn how to capture photos as good as theirs!!

When I purchased my  Kira Leather Clutch Wallet in Brandy, I admired it for a long time and then stored it away in the Hayden-Harnett white dust cover AND never used it. The tag is still attached. Recently, I was going through my stored away items and came upon the wallet!

So, now I am offering this Hayden-Harnett Kira Leather Clutch Wallet for sale! It comes with a H-N Logo plate on the front. Inside, there is a lot going on with a frame compartment, twelve credit card pockets, open ID pocket, three bill pockets, interior zipper pocket, pinsnap closure.

On the interior, is a beautiful and bold fabric lining that is rather mod with light teal, gold and brown swirls. The clutch wallet unfolds to a height of 12 inches. This is a gorgeous and functional little black leather bag with lots of style! I purchased this directly from Dillards. It's been used a couple of times, but is in mint condition. It has been stored away in a white dust cover in a clean environment.

The cute little Kate Landry frame bag measures approximately 7.5 inches wide by 7 inches high by 4 inches deep. It has 4 silvertone feet on the bottom. There is a pin snap closure at top to an open compartment with black fabric lining. It has a silvertone chain handle. The styling of it reminds me of a French lady's type of handbag; very Chanel-like!

You know, I've been a fan of pom poms for many years. I authored a Squidoo lens on pom poms in August 2007.

In the spotlight today is the i Santi Made in Italy Chocolate and Tan Domed Handbag Tote.

This is something you don't see everyday! I know, because I have been searching the internet to find another i Santi handbag like this one. I didn't find another one similar, but I did see a piece of luggage with this color styling. This is a unique Italian made handbag that has been stored in its tan dust cover, in a clean environment, and never used!

It measures approximately 10-1/2 inches wide by 11-1/2 inches high by 4-3/4 inches deep. There are 5 silvertone feet on the bottom and two Silvertone engraved pulls on the zipper, which runs around the outside and top of the bag.

I love the contrasting deep chocolate with a vachetta type tan leather. It has two stylishly long, loop like handles and a chained i Santi engraved tag on the outside.  The interior is lined with a dark brown i Santi signature fabric. There is a zippered side pocket adorned with a label that reads: "i santi" Made in Italy 002 F5002.

It's been a lot of years since I first heard about the designer handbag brand of Beijo. The brand of Beijo gained in popularity thanks to its home-based business and purse parties. My initial introduction to Beijo was from a coworker who was "mad" about the Beijo bags.

I purchased the Beijo backpack from a charity auction that was held at DeerCreek Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida. Since I've never had the opportunity to use this stylish, patent-look backpack, I had it for sale in my eCrater store. It measures 10 x 10 x 4 inches and can be converted to a handbag. Some lucky lady is now enjoying this delicious Beijo backpack!

P.S. Imagine my surprise to recently learn that Beijo is something else, not only stylish women's designer handbags! According to the Wikipedia entry, "Beijo is a song by Romanian music group Morandi."

My favorite designer is Givenchy! For years, I have been building my personal Givenchy collection. Now, I am presenting some selected designer handbags from my Givenchy Designer Handbag Collection. The first Givenchy item is one of my favorites. It is a larger, tote size handbag that sports the signature Givenchy GG logo design. I love the contrasting chocolate with tan colors, along with the chocolate leather trim and tassels. The Givenchy Signature Brown and Tan Tote is a "wow!"

This little bag was purchased at the Paris International Airport. I have the original purchase receipt as documentation of its authenticity.

Perhaps you prefer a Givenchy designer bag in black and gray? I just so happen to have the pouchette bag in a black and gray!  I really love the styling of the Givenchy GG logo. And, the double fringe tassels definitely make this little bag. It's the perfect size pouchette for a gal's night out. It will easily carry your cellphone, lipstick, mirror, brush, and a small wallet.

The Dooney and Bourke Square Flap Bag Kiwi has a retail price of $230.00. I only carried this beautiful bag once. It has been stored in a pristine environment and looks like new!  It's rather rare to find this little bag in such an excellent, nearly new condition. What I really love about it is the kiwi color matched with the hot pink fuchsia interior. Also, I am passionate about hearts and really appreciate the multicolor enameled hearts on the buckle front.

Stray Cats of Mandarin

Country Club Cats

Country Club Cats of DeerCreek: I've written quite a bit about those Country Club Cats of DeerCreek. Through my many web pages, you've gotten to know Bandit, Boots, Precious, Pug, and Tigger up close and personal. Over the years, I have worked with First Coast No More Homeless Pets in Jacksonville, Florida, to spay and neuter and return the feral cats to the colony. We also worked closely with Animal Care and Control along with St. Francis Animal Hospital and Wells Road Veterinary Animal Center to care for these cats.

With the finalization of my divorce, I gave up my home in DeerCreek Country Club to the ex. The care of the feral colony of country club cats subsequently fell upon his shoulders. DeerCreek is a gated community; I no longer have access to visiting or caring for these precious cats who were like family to me. In a sense, I have grieved for the "loss" of these cats. I can't possibly explain what it feels like to be separated from them.

Stray Cats of Mandarin: I have now moved a zip code away from DCCC. Keeping in mind, that I dearly miss those Country Club Cats, I am now visited almost daily by some new cats who seem to have found me! I call these cats, the "Stray Cats of Mandarin." First up, is Mr. Blackie. I met Mr. Blackie the first week I moved in. I first saw him last Summer, sitting in the street with an orange cat. Then he started coming to my back door. A neighbor tells me that he is a stray that the neighbors take care of; but I haven't found out if he has a real home.

Please meet another mister, Orange the Cat. Oh, I haven't yet penned a name for either of these two tomcats. It's interesting to see the interaction between the black and orange male cats; they have a mutual respect for each other. They don't fight with each other thankfully! Mr. Blackie is a bit more friendly, whilst Mr. Orange is a bit skittish.

The third cat is a beautiful white cat with a fluffy gray tail and a patch of gray on its left side with some gray markings on its face. I think this cat is a female and surely must be an inside cat that got out. Only two times have I noticed this cat at my back door.

Well, I hope you enjoyed meeting the Stray Cats of Mandarin. We weren't trying to sell you anything today, but just wanted to share a love and an appreciation for our feline friends.

By the way, perhaps you are a neighbor of mine and recognize these cats? I'd surely love to track down the owners. I believe both Mr. Blackie and Mr. Orange would benefit from neutering ... I'm guessing they need to be neutered judging from the size of their packages! Also, Mr. Blackie hurt his right paw and was limping for several days. 2014 UPDATE: On May 20, 2014, I spotted another white cat hanging around my backyard daily. Upon taking a closer look, it appeared she was pregnant! Oh dear. Such a beautiful mommy cat who surely shouldn't be out roaming the neighborhood. I was wondering to whom this adorable cat might belong. Could it be the pet of the next door neighbor's son who lives miles away? That neighbor doesn't really like cats, so maybe she put the little girl outside? By the first of June, I realized she had delivered.

It was many days before the neighbor two doors down asked if I had seen the white cat. We talked about all that had transpired. Then she told me, "I have her kittens in my bushes." That was on a Monday. After all the commotion with the neighbor telling another neighbor and so forth and so on, mommy cat moved the babies. It was not until Friday morning that I was able to tail mommy after her feeding and rescue the little ones. Oh my, I am now providing care for the found mommy cat and her six little kittens in Mandarin, Florida.

September 11, 2014: I just received word the other day from Jen at ACPS to give me an update on the white mommy calico cat and her three female kittens. On September 5th, the white kitten and the calico kitten were both adopted by the same family. On September 6th, the orange female tabby kitten was adopted by another family. And, it has now been two weeks since the mommy cat got placed in the Wild Whiskers program. I am not allowed to know anything about the adopters of the cat and six kittens. That makes me real sad. I asked that my personal information be shared with them ... and I am thinking that information didn't get passed on either. Why all the secrecy? You know, we have had a number of pet hoarding cases with the animals being rescued. Do they NOT tell people adopting any cat or dog from the agency to protect the fact of where these animals came from in the first place?

I'm feeling a little sad in that I poured all my time and energy into the care of the seven felines, to ensure that they would have the best start on their lives. Now, I only have the satisfaction of thinking of them in the context of the time they spent with me. Nothing more; nothing less.

Surviving the Divorce and Moving On

Good day to my readers who haven't totally deserted me. Life can be quite tough these days for couples dating and for couples in a marriage. But think about how tough it can be for single people!!! With the difficult financial and employment landscapes of today, going it alone can be incredibly challenging and quite daunting. I won't soon be writing a guide to tell you how to survive a marriage, but I do see that there is a market for that type of book.

This is my segway blog post to help me transition in my writings from the previous to the future. And to offer up an explanation for what the heck I have been doing in my personal life. What I found with my divorce is that things were not as they seemed. I found that I lost many of the friends with which I shared good times during the marriage. After the divorce, those friends seemed to evaporate into thin air. One friend told me "not to worry as those must have been shallow friends." Maybe, but what happened to YOU? He was gone too.

Jaguar Julie is Available! Yeah.

I served the ex with divorce papers on my birthday of all days: July 9, 2010. I do not recommend using your birthday in this fashion. You know, Seth Godin's birthday is July 10th? I only mention that because of how much time I have allocated to his platform of Squidoo; and because I did more of a celebration of my birthday on the 10th.

After some two plus months with the really expensive attorney, I released the high-powered attorney in October 2010. Working with the ex, we came to a divorce settlement, that I now realize, really favored him. I hate that he changed things in the settlement after I released my attorney!! In hindsight, not a smart move on my part. The divorce was finalized on November 16, 2010. But, I'm afraid the ex is going to make me wait until 2018 to pay me what he owes me! That stinks; enough said.

Well whatever! I have officially finished the grieving period for said divorce. In the meantime, I let my poor blog suffer. It is now officially time that I got a move on.

On the dating front: Any peers out there in single-land? Have you recently been divorced? There is hope for us in these trying times. I have yet to pen that personals ad. My friends, thank GOD for my friends, have suggested I try Match.com, PlentyofFish, OurTime and eHarmony. Yikes, dating!!! Have you tried any of those sites and have a success story? Oh ... please tell me about it.

On the employment front: I made a little time this past week to update my two branded websites: Jaguar Julie and Jaguar Julie Designs. On my about me page: "I am currently accepting inquiries from forward-thinking, dynamic companies in the Jacksonville, Florida area."

I am seeking to secure a creative marketing position with a very special company and boss. [in Jacksonville, Florida] I prefer a smaller-sized company with a tight nucleus of professionals. At this point in my creative career, I'd love to be a meaningful part of a team of creative web builders and writers.

I'd thrive on being able to have a creative consultative environment to brainstorm concepts with a creative team of my peers. Writing and editing are two core loves of mine; along with creating unique and clever product fact sheets, product labeling, and newsletters.

Oh, and I hope to work my blogging in there too. That's just the tip of the iceberg of what can get my motor running in any given day.
